Our standard Italian courses comprises 26 lessons (of 60 minutes) per week, in groups of a maximum of 8 students. On your first day here, you will take an assessment test in order to arrange you into one of four linguistic levels (from beginners to advanced).
Small class sizes enable us to make full use of modern communicative methods of language teaching, though still including proven old language teaching methods where appropriate. Whatever your level the aim is to get you speaking and to achieve this our classes include a broad range of activities including grammar, conversation, analysis and discussion of literary texts and newspaper articles, listening comprehension, groupwork, lexical and phonetic development, and viewing of Italian films. Throughout the group lessons, the student's progress will be carefully monitored.
The school will close on the following days: May 1st (Labour Day), August 15 (Assumption), September 8 (Patron Saint of Piobbico).
