It is “scrumptious” to learn the Art of good Italian cooking and discover the tastes of the gastronomic tradition. In charming farmhouses, the chef will lead you to the discovery of regional and local recipes and typical products: you will be able to prepare delicious Italian meals under his/her guidance. Accompanied by a fine wine of the Marche, you will be able to sample prepared meals such as the “polentone alla carbonara” (you will see the “polentari” at work!), dishes with truffles, mushrooms, Fossa cheese, not to mention the “crostolo” (a local speciality) and the “bostrengo” (a typical cake of the region). Excellent chefs, specialised in different fields, will teach you the art of cooking in the nationally renowned “Alberghiero Institute” of Piobbico.

Dante Alighieri in Piobbico offers not only courses in Italian language and culture, but also Italian cooking courses, that are characterised by the variety of dishes, the authenticity of the ingredients and their unique tastes and flavours.
Wine, cheese, desserts, meats, truffles, honey, extra virgin olive oil, home made pasta, are all the essential elements that go into creating the natural and flavoursome dishes that are typical of the Montefeltro region.
A perfect place for whoever wants to discover the secrets of Italian gastronomy, to improve themselves in the art of cooking or simply to have an interesting and enjoyable holiday.
Italian Cookery
This is our most popular optional course. You will be instructed in the art of Italian cookery. Of course, at the end of the cookery class there is a lot of delicious food to eat, and wine, water, and perhaps a little homemade lemoncino will help you digest your hard work.
The course in Italian cooking covers covers both practical and theoretical aspects of cookery. You will participate in preparation of the dishes as well as learning about the various dishes typical of the nation and the region. Of course, at the end of each lesson the students and the instructor share the meal that they have created together.
